She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hatch Edwards and Ella Marie Cull Robertson; her daughter Maria Cornett-Lewis; her grandson Christopher Michael Cornett; her siblings, Mary Catherine Harsin, James Wlliam Edwards and Mickey Edwards; and her close friend John Stanley, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, William Joseph "Bill" Combs (Margie) of Madison, Indiana, Teresa Combs Donnell of Madison and Patty A. Combs of Madison, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Amy Long (Jason), B. J. Combs (Kelly), Kevin Dewayne Cornett (Lina), Jeremy Wayne Lewis (Kristen), Michael James Cornett (Becky), Angie Graves Woolard (Dean), Matthew D. Monroe (Deanna), Mark S. Monroe (Nikki), Carrie J. Brierly (James) and Georgene E. Rector. She is also survived by her 18 great grandchildren; her several great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
