She was predeceased by: her parents, Lula Wiseman Brooks and Hosea Durbin Brooks; her husband Joseph Howard Butler; her son Stephen Allen Butler; and her siblings, Charles Brooks, Virginia Demaree and Louise McCool.
She is survived by: her son Richard "Rick" Terry Butler (Vickie) of Milton, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Ashley Thornsberry (Chad) and Gavin Butler; and her great grandchildren, Cade Thornsberry, Corbin Thornsberry, Allie Thornsberry and Taylor Butler. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
