He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Bertram and Pearl Bertram (Massengale); his wife Sue Bertram; and his brother Eddie "Tank" Bertram. He is survived by: his children, Brent Bertram (Jill) and Elizabeth Bertram; his grandchildren, Jentry Bertram and John Simon Bertram; and his siblings, Bob Bertram, Connie Bertram, Carolyn Shearer and Joyce Ann Taylor.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel (647 N Main St, Monticello, KY 42633). A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: First Christian Church Building Fund, 100 Michigan Ave, Monticello, Kentucky.
