He was predeceased by: his parents, Alpha Marie and Charles Robert Haynes; his wife Margie Haynes; and his brother Brent Haynes. He is survived by: his daughter Crystal Watkins (Michael); his grandchildren, Whitney Bunch (James) and Kyle Watkins (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Alivia Bunch and Gibson Bunch; his sister Cheryl Perkins; his close friend Rusty Hart; and his friend Cary.

“I remember Cary Rice Haynes. His dad "Charlie" Haynes was the head of a group called Sea Cadets. (Sort of a Boy Scouts group).We wore dress blue navy uniforms from the army/navy surplus store in Lexington, Ky. My uniform was the one worn by my dad he wore during WWII on the USS Southhampton. My mom altered it ti fit me. Cary and his dad were devout Christians and I have no doubt both are spending eternity in Heaven with God and his son our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
