He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Dobbs and Fronia Dobbs (Kidd); and his siblings, Clyde, Wilburn, Joe, Grady, Hershel, Bennie Dobbs, Anna Lee Rigney, Lula Mae Jones and Edna Dobbs Sexton.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Faye Dobbs (Matthews); his sons, Harold Gene Dobbs and Cecil Robie Dobbs, Jr.; his sister Jewell Bell; and his grandchildren, Jessica Keith (Josh), Cody Dewayne Dobbs (Natalie), Jordan Lucas Dobbs (Chelsie), Madison Brooke Padget (Jarrod), Megan Dawn Dobbs, Taylor Reshea Keith, Payton Elizabeth Keith, Bryler Cole Keith, Owen Wayne Padget, Logan Dobbs and Caleb Dobbs.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home (647 N Main St, Monticello, KY 42633). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel (647 N Main St, Monticello, KY 42633).
