She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Elzo and Martha Lois Peercy; her former husband Marvin "Pete" Bertram; her spouse Dallas Hicks; her son Stevie Wayne Bertram; and her sisters, Mary Lois Bowen and Joyce Sexton.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Richardson (Larry), Keith Bertram (Sharon) and David Bertram (Sharon); her stepchildren, Shannon Flagler (David) and Derek Hicks (Cheryl); and her sisters, Retha Brumley and Wilma York. She is also survived by five grandchildren; six step grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and six step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel (647 N Main St, Monticello, KY 42633). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
