He is survived by: his close friend Cindy Bates; his children, Clint Brummett, Josh Brummett and Samantha Foster; his stepchildren, Maxine Waters, Tommy Bates, Tony Bates, William Bates, Laura Allen and Mack Bates; his grandchildren, Bryar Brummett, Tyten and Tysen Fairchild; and his sisters, Wanda McWhorter, Ann Savage and Sue Adkins (Billy). He is also survived by 12 step grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends.
