He was predeceased by: his parent Daisy McGinnis (Gunter); his former wife Michelle Gunter; and his sister Tressia Lynn McGinnis. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Ann Gunter; his children, Nick Gunter (Makensey), Chance Gunter, Shannon Gunter, Kalissa Bridgeman, Christy Thurman (Paul) and Lucy Roberts (Scott); his grandchildren, Jordan, Alex, Jace, Samantha, Maelyn, Colin, William, Phoenix, Amelia, Emberley and Adriana; his sisters, Diane Corder, Lessia Zimmerman (Richard), Sylvia McGinnis (Steve) and Judy Haney (Mike); and his close friends, Matthew Palmatier and Ricky Hicks.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel (647 N Main St, Monticello, KY 42633). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
