She was predeceased by : her parents, John Sherod and Leva Bowlin White; and her siblings, Arnold White, Georgia Elizabeth South, Marie Dobbs, Nelldane Arant and Allie Gay Massengale.

She is survived by : her husband Bobby Burke; her children, Steve Burke (Marla), Mark Burke (Beverly) and Becky Humble (Tim); her grandchildren, Josh Humble (Becca) and Hannah Humble; her great grandchildren, Dalton Humble, Sydney Humble and Myra Burke Humble; and her sister Irene King.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Elk Spring Valley Baptist Church or the Gideons Memorial Bible Plan.
