He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Stinson and Addie Stinson (Looper); his grandson David Hazen Stinson; and his siblings, Carmel Stinson, Reba Neal, Letha Blevins, Hazel Delk and Rener Lowe.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Stinson; his son Dewayne Stinson (Priscilla); and his sisters, Nannie Dishman, Jula Reynolds and Mae Hancock.

A graveside service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
