He was predeceased by: his parents, Obie Bertram and Maude Bertram; his siblings, Anna Lee Cross, Wallace Bertram and Phillip Bertram; and his son-in-law Barry Denney.

He is survived by: his children, Alisa Bertram Denney and David Allen Bertram; his niece Patricia Cross Wheeler; and his nephew Gary Cross. He is also survived by his family, friends, neighbors.
