He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Mansfield and Ina Mansfield (Turner); his wife Mary Agnes; his siblings, Perry Mansfield and Earlene Mansfield; and his son-in-law Mark Walston.
He is survived by: his children, Gene (Holly), Dale (Brenda), Daniel, David Mansfield, Joyce Walston and Connie Russell; and his sister Brenda Peavie. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild, along with a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home (647 N Main St, Monticello, KY 42633). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
