He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Oval New and Vontella Kidd New; and his siblings, Fred, Darrell New and Aughdean New.
He is survived by: his siblings, Donna Koontz (Bill Knight) of Monticello, Carol Gregory of Monticello, Velma Tucker of Somerset, James New of Monticello and Bobby New (Lynna) of Indiana; and his caregivers, Lena Vaughn, Sara Marcus and Ashland Barron.
