He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mac Dishman, James Dishman and Mary Hicks; his great grandchild Kayelyn; his son-in-law Ed Piercy; and his brothers-in-law, Hack Crabtree, Junior Bybee and Luther Hicks.
He is survived by: his wife Rosie Napier; his children, Thomas Ray Dishman, Jr. (Mary), Joann Piercy and Barbara Dishman; his grandchildren, Thomas Ray Dishman (Tabbatha), Veronica Little (Jason), Victoria Ballentine, Edwin Piercy (Kaylee), Joseph Piercy, Taylor Dishman and Tyler May (Kileah); his siblings, Emily Dishman Crabtree, Christine Dishman Bybee Goff, Alta Dishman McGinnis and Phillip Dishman (Karen); and his sister-in-law Sue Dishman. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel (647 N Main St, Monticello, KY 42633). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
