He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Porter and Willie Maxie Lee (Shupman); and his siblings, Gaines, Robert "Bob" Lee, Ora "Minnie" Lee and Nancy Pauline Coffey.

He is survived by : his wife Margaret Lee; his children, Roger Lee and Rhonda Angel; his sisters, Betty Walcott and Florence Sexton; his grandchildren, Katarra Dobbs (Derik) and Dustin Angel (Cheley); and his great grandchildren, Caden, Chloe and Willow Angel.
