He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Joe" Williamson and Jennie Conley Williamson; his wife Juanita Shepherd Williamson; his son Billy Joe Williamson, Jr.; and his brother Elbert Williamson.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Williamson (Kim) of Morehead and Lisa Williamson Gibbs (Sandy) of Morehead; and his sister Lois Hatter (R. C.) of Falcon, Kentucky. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
