He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Dyer and Rosa Barnett Dyer; and his siblings, John Dyer, Darrel Dyer, Wanda Hollan and Elizabeth Pennington.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Parks Dyer; his children, Robert Dyer (Cindy), Kenneth Dyer (Sadie) and Erica Macey (John); his stepdaughter Wilma West (Gary); and his siblings, Larry Dyer (Nadine) and Carolyn Ford (Jerry). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sharkey Baptist Church (2555 Sharkey Rd, Morehead, KY 40351). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (3135 Flemingsburg Rd, Morehead, KY 40351).
