He was predeceased by: his parents, William Riley and Zola Fultz Riley; his former wife Dixie Moore Riley; his siblings, Clifford Riley, Larry Riley, Gary Riley and Clista Riley Adkins; and his stepson Tommy Buckner.
He is survived by: his wife Alva Miller Riley; his children, Maddix Buckner, McKena Hertle and Alexia Buckner; his stepdaughters, Delrita Buckner of Morehead and Pamela McKinney (Chuck) of Morehead; his stepgrandchildren, Jonathan Mayo, Addison Buckner, Erika Oakley (Joe), Gabriel Oakley and Heather Buckner (Johnny Powell); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Gus Oakley, Eden Powell, Enoch Powell and Caden Oakley; and his brothers, Oscar Riley of Morehead, Donnie Riley of Morehead and Allen Riley of Morehead. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Northcutt & Son Home For Funerals, Inc. (400 Fraley Dr, Morehead, KY 40351). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at the Fultz Cemetery.
