We bid farewell to Carol Tapp (Morehead, Kentucky), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 5, 2025 at the age of 79. Carol touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luster Lambert and Martha Jane McBrayer Lambert; her brothers, Gordon Lambert and Michael Lambert; her in-laws, Robert J. and Maye Tapp; and her sister-in-law Betty McDonald.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Thomas "Tom" Tapp; her daughters, Julie Montgomery of Winchester and Amy Hargis of Winchester; her stepchildren, Andria Tapp and Wesley Tapp; and her siblings-in-law, Ginny Lambert, Robert Tapp (Janet) and Kermit Tapp (Delores). She is also survived by several loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Northcutt & Son Home For Funerals, Inc. (400 Fraley Dr, Morehead, KY 40351). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at the McBrayer Cemetery.
