He is survived by: his son Steven Mayse of Ypsilanti, Michigan; his grandson Mitchell Mayse of Michigan; and his siblings, Eugene Mayse of Ypsilanti, Ray Mayse of Clinton, Michigan, Darlene Mays of Winchester, Retha Davis of Morehead, Rella Evans of Richmond and Barbara Mays of Morehead. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other family members, and friends.
