It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darold Rayburn Bailey Sr. of Morehead, Kentucky, who passed away on July 4, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Bert Allen Bailey and Elizabeth Smith Bailey; his sister Louise B. Stevens; his grandsons, Clifton Ray Wallace and Zachary Dylan Bailey; and his nephew James Allen Stevens.

He is survived by : his wife Norma Jean Withrow Bailey; his children, Darold Rayburn Bailey Jr. (Kristi) and Kimberly Jean Davis (Joe); his grandchildren, Leslie Sherlin (Jamie), Kacie Smith (EJ), Erin Lands (Nathan), Allison Davis, Nathan Davis (Danielle), Chelsea Bailey, Alexis Bailey, Darold "Trey" Rayburn Bailey III and Emma Rose Bailey; his great grandchildren, Lillianna, Abbigale, Emelia, Jase, Will, Eldon, Amos, Brenham, Noah, Brecken, Emery, Hudson, Charlie and Ruby Moon; his sister Deloris Thomas; his pet Scamp; and also Shih-Tzu.
