She was predeceased by: her husband Clayton "Sam" Stegall; and her parents, Alec Trent and Gracie Slone Trent. She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Stegall-Blevins; her son-in-law Walter "Doc" Blevins; her close friend Evelyn Conn; and her niece-in-law Ida Mae Edwards. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Northcutt & Son Home For Funerals (400 Fraley Dr, Morehead, KY 40351). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at the Wyatt Cemetery (6375 State Hwy 173, Morehead, KY 40351).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Gateway Area Development District to support the local senior meals program.
