He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Al, Aileen Thompson, Herbert and Jean Barker; and his wife Summer Hesterburg White Barker.
He is survived by: his son Dawson Lee Wayne Barker; his parents, Randy Ross of Morehead and Luana Barker of Olive Hill; his sisters, Heather Barger (Brian) of Morehead and Kaitlyn Caldwell (Rob) of Huntington; his nieces and nephews, Josie Bond, Mattalynn Crawford, Ethan Caldwell, Alivia Caldwell and Charlie Barger; and his friend Larryn Brown. He is also survived by his son, family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Northcutt Son Home For Funerals (400 Fraley Dr, Morehead, KY 40351). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Northcutt & Son Home For Funerals Memorial Chapel (400 Fraley Dr, Morehead, KY 40351). A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at the Bowen Chapel Cemetery (21375 US-60, Olive Hill, KY 41164).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
