It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith McGuire (Morehead, Kentucky), who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Edith leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Lykins and Rachel Jane Franklin Lykins. She is survived by: her children, Jay Smallwood of Goshen, Indiana, Ben Smallwood of Goshen, Indiana, Victoria Smallwood of Olive Hill and Genia Wagoner of Flemingsburg; her brother Marcus Lykins of Lucasville, Ohio; and her caregiver Richard Stiener of Olive Hill. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
