With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Eugene Holbrook (Morehead, Kentucky), born in Olive Hill, Kentucky, who passed away on November 18, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Ernest Holbrook and Mary Ellen Brinegar Holbrook; his children, Ernest Eugene Holbrook, Donald Edward Holbrook and Deborah Manning; and his siblings, William Earl "Bill" Holbrook, Chester Clay Holbrook, Terry Lee Holbrook and Penny Fultz.

He is survived by: his children, James A. Holbrook of Clearfield and Lisa Stewart of Morehead; his stepdaughter Lisa Himes of Fleming County; his grandchildren, Ricky Crawford, Joey Beamon, William Crawford, Casie Ratliff, Whittlee Sagraves, Jason Davis, Ashley Longley, Tyler Davis, Corey Hurst, Shaylen Farris, Allen Wills, Hunter Holbrook and Michaela Holbrook; his great grandchildren, Blake David Sagraves and Alice Rae Sagraves; his brothers, Donald Holbrook of Owingsville, Gary Holbrook of Fleming County and J. D. Holbrook of Morehead; his caregiver Whittlee Sagraves of Clearfield; and his sister-in-law June Holbrook of West Liberty. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
