He was predeceased by: his parents, James Beldon Ison and Betty Lee Cooper Ison; and his brother John Lee Ison. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Williams Ison; his sons, James David Ison of Oak Lawn and Jason Lee Ison of Plainfield, Illinois; his sisters, Jean Weber of Anchor and Janet Sanders of Fort Worth, Texas; and his grandchildren, Madison Ison and Karlie Ison. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
