With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice Vanhook of Morehead, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 6, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Caudill and Anna Davis Caudill; her husband Jack Vanhook; her son Mike Vanhook; and her siblings, Virgil Caudill (Olive), Harold Caudill (Edna), Delbert Caudill, Chloie Brown (Billie) and Joyce Black (James).
She is survived by: her daughter Jackie Vanhook; her cousins, Charlotte Hall and Sue Mabry; and her close friends, Sandy White, Ermine Hogge, Linda Caudill, Big, Kim Allen, Roxanne Lewis, Donna Wallace, Ray Griffith and Tim Williams. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Northcutt & Son Home For Funerals (400 Fraley Dr, Morehead, KY 40351). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
