He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy McKenzie (Bug) and Oda Carpenter McKenzie; and his siblings, Austin, Bill, Mitchell, Ralph, Louise, Carmie, Kathy and Bonnie.
He is survived by: his son James McKenzie (Mary Williams McKenzie) of Morehead; his stepgrandson Ben Williams of Farmers; and his sisters, Helen and Virginia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Northcutt & Son Home For Funerals, Inc. (400 Fraley Dr, Morehead, KY 40351). A masonic service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at the Brown Cemetery (1845 US-60, Morehead, KY 40351).
