It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Junior Samuel Cox (Morehead, Kentucky), born in Clay, Kentucky, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Mary Ann Lawson and William Cox; his daughter Joyce Nicole Cox; his brother Philip Cox; and his close friends, Zeb, Calvin and Angel.

He is survived by : his wife Betsy Cox of Muses Mill; his daughters, Janie Denton (Charlie) of Lancaster and Jessica Cox (Stephen) of Lancaster; and his grandchildren, Zachary Denton (Ashley) of Harrodsburg, Lillian Denton of Lancaster, Johnny Denton (Nikita) of Wolfe County, Mason Samuel, Ethan, Alicia, Lily, Adam, Lucas, Kinley, Audrey, James, Caitlin, Laci, Alyssa of Nicholas, DJ, Christopher and Kim. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
