It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lydia Montgomery of Morehead, Kentucky, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Scott and Lizzie Alice Ingle Scott; and her siblings, James, Alan Scott, Dorothy McClurg, Patricia Amburgey and Betty Riddle.
She is survived by: her children, Angie Adkins of Morehead, Alberta Crisp (Ronnie) of Morehead, Cecil Cornett (Shari) of Morehead and Julia Miller (Rex) of Morehead; her grandchildren, Ashley Withrow (Jeremy), Ryan Adkins (Kaitlynn), Kaylia Zancan, Andrew Miller (Lakyn), Tori Crisp (Robbie) and Cecilia Miller (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, Raylee, Hadlee Withrow, Ayden, Austin Levi, Alice Makayla, Wade Adkins, Alice Rose Miller, Kaiden Purnell and Charlee Nova; her uncle Carl Ingle of Morehead; her brother-in-law Tony Riddle; and also, David, Sharon Kidd, Faye Thompson and Abby Clifton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Northcutt & Son Home For Funerals, Inc. (400 Fraley Dr, Morehead, KY 40351). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at the Brown Cemetery (1845 US-60, Morehead, KY 40351).
