He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Gambill and Betty Lucille Hamilton Gambill; and his sister Connie Lea Smedley. He is survived by: his children, Bobby Alan Gambill of Morehead and Tiffany Gambill of Grayson; his grandchildren, Andrew Carroll, Matthew Carroll, Chloe Dennis, Grace Gambill and Steven Gambill; and his sisters, Pamela Bang of Acton, Kim Russell of Morehead and Karen Cline of Elizabethtown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as other extended family.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Brown Cemetery (1855 US-60, Morehead, KY 40351).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that all contributions be made payable to Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, P.O. Box 388, Morehead, KY 40351 to assist with funeral expenses.
