She was predeceased by : her parents, James "Buck" Lawson and Nannie Callihan Lawson; and her brothers, Dennis "Pod" Lawson, Everett "Babe" Lawson, Johnny Lawson and Jackie Lawson.

She is survived by : her daughter Regina Thompson (Patrick); her granddaughter Riley Thompson of Morehead; and her brothers, James Lawson of Dayton, Ohio, Phillip Lawson of Dayton, Ohio and Tommy Lawson of Dayton, Ohio. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.
