She was predeceased by: her parents, Everette Messer and Marie Johnson Messer; her husband Hayse Pence; her sons, Rick Pence, Michael Everett Pence and David Allen Pence; her grandson Cameron Muse; and her siblings, James Messer, Emmitt Messer, Everett Messer, Jr., Martha Ina Hamm, Sarah Jane Drake, Mary Jessee and Virginia Messer McGlone.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Pence and Lisa Boswell of Morehead; and her sisters, Sandra Thompson of Delong and Minerva Miley of Breman, Indiana. She is also survived by five grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
