He was predeceased by: his parents, George Stone and Charlene Rose Stone; and his sisters, Pam Stone and Denise Culp. He is survived by: his wife Tommie Crum Stone; his daughters, Tiffney Kelsey (Aaron) of Carthage and Tessa Stone of Pueblo, Colorado; his grandsons, Jacob Kelsey and Jonathan Kelsey; and his siblings, David Stone of Salt Lick, Brenda Robinson of Morehead, Joyce Lewis of Morehead, Beverly Lewis of Morehead and Vicky Helton of Salyersville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as other extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Northcutt & Son Home For Funerals (400 Fraley Dr, Morehead, KY 40351). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the Stone Cemetery (Cemetery Rd, Stephens, KY 41171).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that all contributions be made payable to Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, P.O. Box 388, Morehead, KY 40351 to assist with funeral expenses.
