He is survived by: his wife Donna Howard Sorrell; his sons, Christopher "Chris" Sorrell of Morehead, Travis Sorrell (Bethany Voight) of Morehead, Nicholas "Nick" Sorrell of Morehead and Cody Sorrell (Laken) of Sandy Hook; his grandchildren, Kason, Lucas, Jaxston, Nolan, Kelsie, Madison, Alaina, Malia, Tinley and Serenity; his siblings, Eric Carter of Jamestown, Ohio, Kim Harlow of Florida and Kay Adams of Colfax; his uncle Mike Kissick of Colfax; and his aunt Pam Patterson of Texas.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Northcutt & Son Home For Funerals, Inc. (400 Fraley Dr, Morehead, KY 40351). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at the Slaty Point Cemetery (2400 Lower Licking Rd, Morehead, KY 40351).
