In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Rose had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Rose may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Odes Cox and Dolly Cox (Sparkman); and her husband Roger Hunter. She is survived by: her sons, Greg Smith (Susan) and Nathan Caudill (Carrie); her stepson Allen Walter Jr.; her daughter Amber Ervin (David); her stepdaughter Amy Mejia (Chris); and her siblings, Linda Hicks, Lila Logan (Greg), Michael Cox (Lisa) and Lionel Cox (Anita). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
