He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernie Maze and Martha Lou Razor Maze; his wife Shirley Bashford Maze; his brother Rick Maze; and his niece Carrie Hamm.
He is survived by: his close friend Annette Cooper Maze of Hillsboro; his daughter Tamara Maze of Flemingsburg; his sister Verdina Maze Hamm of Flemingsburg; his grandchildren, Karissa Donathan and Timothy Hardin; his stepchildren, Erica Robinson of Hillsboro, John Kissick of Owingsville, Tyler Lee of Salt Lick and Hunter Dailey of Hillsboro; his niece Ericka Grimes of Morehead; and his nephews, Chris Hamm of Flemingsburg and Chad Hamm of Flemingsburg. He is also survived by extended family members and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hutton Funeral Home (7634 Hillsboro Rd, Hillsboro, KY 41049). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
