The memory of Bernard Elias Thomas Jr. of Morganfield, Kentucky, who passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid Bernard Elias farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Bernard Elias is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Elias Thomas, Sr. and Cecilia Mae Bullock Thomas; his son Mark Allen Thomas; his brother Edward Merle Thomas of Sturgis; and his siblings-in-law, Lyda Thomas, Angie Thomas of Morganfield and Tom K Stevenson of Sturgis, KY.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 9great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Whitsell Funeral Home - Morganfield (250 N Court St, Morganfield, KY 42437). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
