She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Buckman and Maude Buckman; her husband William Robert Alvey Sr.; and her sisters, Carolyn Girten, Rose Floyd and Anne Marie Vowels.
She is survived by : her siblings, David Buckman and Sylvia Franklin; and her children, Bobby Alvey Jr. (Valerie) of Waverly, KY, Barry Alvey (Christi) of Waverly, KY, Bonnie Knott (Jerry) of Hebbardsville, KY and Brad Alvey of Morganfield, KY. She is also survived by 5 grandsons; 6 great grandkids.
