She was predeceased by : her parents, Edith Steelman and Frank Leslie Steelman; her husband Bennie Earl Morgan; and her grandson Seth Morgan. She is survived by : her sister Nancy McCullough of Morganfield, KY; and her children, David (Catherine Morgan), Mark (Sue Morgan), Frank (Julie Morgan), Rebecca Dyer and Rachel (Bill Phipps).

“May her memory be a blessing. I am so glad I spoke with her the beginning of June. Gloria and Nancy have always had a special place in our hearts. David loved traveling "down south" for the Corn Festival, watching the parade from her house and playing cards every night. We are so thankful that we were able to have a great friendship in later life. I always felt I knew your Mom before we ever met since I knew all the stories from David's Mom, Mary B. What a unique, lovely lady!”
