With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kathy Walker Hancock of Morganfield, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kathy Walker left this world on July 21, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Walker and Dorothy Walker (Alexander); and her in-laws, James and Betty Hancock. She is survived by: her husband James W. Hancock, III; her children, Dr. Laura Hancock of Waverly, KY and Mark Hancock of Morganfield, KY; her grandchildren, Abby, Sarah, Bill and Jacob Jones of Waverly, KY; and her sisters, Sue Catlett (Jerry) of Magnolia, OH and Leta Wheeler (Jim) of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Whitsell Funeral Home (250 N Court St, Morganfield, KY 42437). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (304 Church St, Morganfield, KY 42437). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
