He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Griggs, Sr. and Jane Seton Omer Griggs; and his brother Bill Tom Griggs. He is survived by: his wife Janice Berry Griggs; his daughters, Jill Griggs Underwood (Tom) and Sarah Jane Griggs Giffin; and his grandchildren, Thomas Griggs Underwood, Ridley Grace Underwood, Tynsley Jane Giffin and Jackson Matthew Giffin.
