With sadness, we share the passing of Paula Rhea of Morganfield, Kentucky. Paula, born on October 14, 1951, passed away on August 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Byrd and Learly Watson; and her stepfather Jim Watson. She is survived by: her former husband Raymond Cope of Morganfield; her sons, Morris Rhea II, Joseph Rhea (Shannon Colburn) and James Rhea; her siblings, Sharon Cross, Michael Cross and Susan Perry; her grandchildren, Gary Dean Dowdy, Kristen Rhea, Kimberly Rhea (Jeffrey), Timmy Rhea (Brylee) and Josh Rhea; and her great grandchildren, Sophia Purcell and Ivy Berry.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lindsey Funeral Home (226 N 4th St, Paducah, KY 42001). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
