He was predeceased by: his parents, Callie Embry and Luvina Casey Embry; his daughter Glinna Lorene Embry; and his siblings, Daugherty, Herman, Ira, Hayward, Shelton, Orville Embry, Palestine Henderson and Lucy Duke.
He is survived by: his wife Lorene Embry; his daughters, Ammie Patterson and Anna Gates (James); his grandchildren, Shane Patterson (Mikayla), Shelby Jeffries (Isaak), Cameron Patterson, Briar Gates (Maddie) and Hunter Gates; his great grandchild Ryder Gates; his brother Paul Embry (Devois); and his sisters-in-law, Gustine Embry and Ruby Embry. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Chapel (927 W G L Smith St, Morgantown, KY 42261). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
