With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara J. Lacefield of Morgantown, Kentucky, who passed away on July 19, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laslie Lacefield and Maudie Mitchell Lacefield; her husband Howard Lacefield; her children, Ricky, Harold Lacefield and Kristi; and her siblings, Bobby Joe, Danny, Freddy and Mary Lou.
She is survived by: her children, Bro. Larry (Norene), James, Kenny, Sherry, Wanda (Norman), Joyce (Reese) and Kaye; her daughter-in-law Lisa; and her close friend Deb Payton. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Free Union Independent General Baptist Church (9578 Caneyville Rd, Morgantown, KY 42261).
