He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Marietta Embry Smith; his brothers, Leonard and Stevie Smith; and his parent-in-law Palistine Henderson.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Henderson Smith; his children, Scott Smith (Misty), Angie Embry (Tony) and Jessica Bratcher (Roscoe); his grandchildren, Zach (Angie), Jamie (Dakota), Talbert (Bre), Shelby, Walker, Faith (Gabe), Payton and Drake; his stepgrandchildren, Paige, Cadence and Bella; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Branton, Paisley, Maverick, Ryder, Lakely, Tatumn, Caven and Raylee; and his nieces, Renee Fisher, Tosha Mudd and Stephanie Dunn.
