He was predeceased by : his parents, Gilbert "Gib" McGuffin and Ollie Florence Helm McGuffin; and his children, Dewayne McGuffin Jr. and Darlene McGuffin. He is survived by : his girlfriend Kathy Lindsey of Morgantown; his sons, Marvin of Morgantown and John McGuffin of Morgantown; his grandson Cody McGuffin of Morgantown; and his brothers, Charles McGuffin of Stephensburg, KY and Raymond McGuffin of Franklin, KY.. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
