She was predeceased by: her husband Don Martin; her granddaughter Tori Martin; her parents, Phillip Gardner and Pearl Dukes Gardner; and her siblings, Jewel Gardner, Margie Finch, Faye Ward, Edith Wells, Sarah Gardner, Jim Gardner, Harold Gardner, Tom Gardner and Glenn Gardner.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie Martin, Tracy Traylor (Kyle), Donnie Martin and Gina Burden (Joe); her grandchildren, Brandon Drake (Jessica), Jessica Burton (Adam), Joshua Drake, Larissa Martin, Chelsea Traylor Ridgley (Breyton), Casey Traylor, Madison Burden, Emily Martin, Kenzie Burden Goochee (Cason) and Chase Burden (Kassie); and her sister Sue Hooper. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (403 N Main St, Morgantown, KY 42261). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
