She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Abbott and Ruth Smith Abbott; her husband Joel C. Duke; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Duke and Genevieve "Jenny" Wilson.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Jo Wagoner; her brothers-in-law, Jerlow Duke, Earlow Duke, Earl Wilson and Ben Wagoner; her children, Joanna Castlen (Richard) of Brooklyn, KY and Jarrod Duke (Mary) of Bowling Green, KY.; her grandchildren, Chance, Justin Castlen of Morgantown, KY, Ella and Lucy Duke of Bowling Green, KY.; her sister Connie Abbott of Morgantown, KY; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Bratcher.
