He was predeceased by : his wife Faye R. Stephens Hunt; his parents, Veachel Hunt and Delia Hunt; and his siblings, Linda Lee, Rodney, Donald and Royce Hunt.

He is survived by : his children, Jerry Hunt (Dana) and Penny Lee (Ricky) of Morgantown, KY.; his grandchildren, Katelynn Peach (Zach), Caleb Hunt (Hannah), Kenzie Hunt, Allie Beasley (Bryar), Trent Lee (Allie), Zack Lee (Kelsey), Brittney Mason (Josh) and Eric Beller (Cyndi); his great grandchildren, Holden, Gage, Walker Lee, Rayna, Violet, Archer Beller, Levi, Kennedy Mason, Cohyn, Oakleigh, Emory Faye Peach, Dutton Laine Hunt, Della Faye Lee and Cason Wayne Hunt; and his sisters, Mae Dean Howard (Tommy) and Jeanette Embry. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
